You are to be congratulated on taking a positive step toward ensuring a successful future for yourself and your family through empowerment by education. History has proven time and again that education is vital to a person’s career, social well-being, and to society at large.

 

In acknowledgement of the struggles that many students face in paying for a college education, Triangle Lodge No. 293, Free and Accepted Masons, is offering a limited number of scholarships to qualified applicants, on a competitive basis to graduating high school seniors and second and subsequent students only in the Commonwealth of Virginia.

 

Amount of Scholarship. To be determined (minimum of $500.00 for graduating high school seniors and $250 for continuing education students.

Number of Scholarships (to be determined).

 

To qualify for consideration, an applicant must:

 Demonstrate Church Involvement or Community Involvement

 Have a minimum cumulative Grade Point Average (GPA) of 2.0 (Certified copy of transcript)

 Provide at least Two (2) Reference Letters

 Provide an Acceptance letter from higher level institution of education

 Provide a 200 Word Essay (autobiography that includes your goals, etc)

 Second and Subsequent year students applying for Continuing Education: Provide certified copy of college transcripts along with proof of enrollment also.
